The heart of the creative process

PAOLO MARTINIG

Born in Cividale del Friuli (UD) in 1962, after the studies, begins in 1986 to work in the communications world and there he remains till 1994 working in Milan, Treviso and Udine, but the limit between communication and design is very thin, and so he transfers in this new world the experience and the creativity ripened during the past years. He cooperates with the most important Italian fashion groups to the realisation of important international projects.

FABIO DI BARTOLOMEI

Born in Udine, in 1979 he founded his Design Agency and subsequently established international collaborations leading to the creation of a network of offices based in NewYork (USA) and Brendale Brisbane Qld (AU). He deals with Industrial & Interior Design, Exhibitions and Architecture. His projects have been exhibited in a number of museums, among them "The Museum of Modern Art" the MOMA in New York and "The Cornig Museum of Glass" in Cornig-NY (USA). Former design teacher at the Faculty of Architecture of Trieste, Udine and at A.B.A. in Verona as well as in many other University Masters, in 2002 his work was also included in the "Museum of Modern Art Design Encyclopedia" published by MoMA, New York. He has also designed and produced numerous architectural works, in the nautical sector, such as eco waterbus": a new Vaporetto steam boat for the city of Venice, a highly eco-sustainable vessel. Over the years he has won many prizes, won among them: "Marcello D'Olivo" design award in 1996; the top ten prize of the Salone Int. della Sedia Udine - (I) in 1997, 1999 and 2007. In 2007, he was awarded the "Interior Innovation Award Cologne 2007" (D) international prize and the nomination for the "Design Award of the Federal Republic of Germany 2008". In 2016, the WRAP office executive chair collection, designed for Linea Fabbrica, was selected as a finalist for the Product Design Awards - Index Dubai 2016 among the best products in the Furniture-Residential category. His commitment to design also extends to publishing. He has been writing on design for several renowned magazines for many years.

PAOLO PAMPANONI

Born in Perugia in 1969, in 2000 Paolo Pampanoni founded an architectural firm focused on the design of offices and work spaces in Assisi. Since 2002 he has started to work as product designer, designing office partitions, furnishing systems, lighting and upholstered furniture. His knowledge of the product and of manufacturing logics has produced ideas and stimuli which enhance characteristics and values., The result is a high-level combination of professional skills expressed in his activity as artistic director and communication manager. A professional development that evolved from spaces to products, up to the definition of the corporate image. The proposed and shared working method has been developed in a simple and effective way, with the purpose of handling complex projects providing solution in different fields. A performance-centred method based on the principle that every aspect of the design must aim at obtaining a specific functional, technical, aesthetic or economic performance. In 2017 he founded D + A Srl, a network of professionals, whose goal is that of creating an interdisciplinary network of space designers, products and communication tools capable of creating effective connections between objects, spaces and users. Today, Studio Pampanoni and D + A work with many companies with the purpose of affirming the value of "made in Italy" and "corporate and territorial brands" in Italy and in the world.
