FABIO DI BARTOLOMEI
Born in Udine, in 1979 he founded his Design Agency and subsequently established international collaborations leading to the creation of a network of offices based in NewYork (USA) and Brendale Brisbane Qld (AU). He deals with Industrial & Interior Design, Exhibitions and Architecture.
His projects have been exhibited in a number of museums, among them "The Museum of Modern Art" the MOMA in New York and "The Cornig Museum of Glass" in Cornig-NY (USA).
Former design teacher at the Faculty of Architecture of Trieste, Udine and at A.B.A. in Verona as well as in many other University Masters, in 2002 his work was also included in the "Museum of Modern Art Design Encyclopedia" published by MoMA, New York.
He has also designed and produced numerous architectural works, in the nautical sector, such as eco waterbus": a new Vaporetto steam boat for the city of Venice, a highly eco-sustainable vessel.
Over the years he has won many prizes, won among them: "Marcello D'Olivo" design award in 1996; the top ten prize of the Salone Int. della Sedia Udine - (I) in 1997, 1999 and 2007. In 2007, he was awarded the "Interior Innovation Award Cologne 2007" (D) international prize and the nomination for the "Design Award of the Federal Republic of Germany 2008". In 2016, the WRAP office executive chair collection, designed for Linea Fabbrica, was selected as a finalist for the Product Design Awards - Index Dubai 2016 among the best products in the Furniture-Residential category.
His commitment to design also extends to publishing. He has been writing on design for several renowned magazines for many years.
